Experience bluetooth communications on Newton
MessagePad can communicate via bluetooth thanks to the Blunt package. It will install the needed drivers plus a setup application which allows to transfer and install applications packages to Newton or stay on-sync with your main computer.
Blunt drivers permit to use the Pico Pcmcia produced by Sphinx in Europe and available for sale on the store. Follow the links on your right to download the latest drivers and manuals for the Pico bluetooth card.
The same developer of Blunt, Echkart Köppen, have also made MadMax, a MP3 player for Newton which can store songs uploaded via iTunes or via internet.
Just plug a Newton Bluetooth Dongle and tap ‘Play’ to let your MessagePad send music to any bluetooth stereo headset or A2DP receiver wirelessly!
